Udta Teer First Look Poster OUT: Ayushmann Khurrana, Sara Ali Khan’s Spy Comedy to Hit Theatres in Oct, Not Sept

Ayushmann Khurrana and Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming spy comedy was originally scheduled to hit the theatres on Sept 11. However, the makers took to their official social media handles to share a first-look poster of the lead actor along with the new release date. The comedy drama will now premiere on Oct. 9, 2026. Helmed by debutant Akash A Kaushik, the film is bankrolled by Karan Johar Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Guneet Monga Kapoor, and Achin Jain.

The film contains the flavour of a humour-filled family entertainer. Sharing the first look poster, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions wrote, “Deshbhakti toh yaad hai…par desh nahi. Get ready for unlimited chaos, confusion and action!” Take a closer look!

Udta Teer Locks New Release Date

Headlined by Ayushmann Khurrana, the newly released poster features the actor hanging between the milestones marking India and Pakistan, seemingly suspended on a hammock right on the Indo-Pak border. At first glance, the film promises to be an unusual and quirky take on the India-Pakistan dynamic. With a “Top Secret” file resting near him, the poster playfully drops a hint at the film’s theme. 

No sooner did the makers unveil the poster than fans and cinephiles flooded the comment section with their excitement and anticipation. After witnessing Ayushmann and Sara Ali Khan together in “Pati, Patni aur Woh Do,” which was released earlier in May, the audience is intrigued to know what’s special in store for them this time.
