After months of delays and postponements, Yash’s “Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown Ups” hit the theatres. Today, the film’s English version was released. However, fans and the audience noticed a17-minute cut in the total runtime. The action thriller was originally written and shot in both Kannada and English before being dubbed into other Indian languages. 

Helmed by Geetu Mohandas, the film was released on Aug. 26, and it garnered mixed reviews. Many praised Yash’s commanding screen presence, whereas a few found the storyline boring. Despite the mixed reactions from moviegoers, it has been performing well at the box office.

The English version of Toxic has arrived in cinemas today, garnering the attention of fans and movie buffs yet again. Besides its box office collection, what’s buzzing is the film’s overall runtime. The original Kannada version runs for 3 hours, 14 minutes, and 12 seconds, whereas the English version runs for 2 hours and 57 minutes. This means that the recently released version has been shortened by approximately 17 minutes.

The makers have announced the English release online, though the details about the runtime and exactly which sequences have been removed or altered have not been revealed.
