The WONDERfools Teaser OUT: Park Eun Bin and Cha Eun Woo’s Superhero Comedy Promises Sheer Amazement

Netflix just unveiled a teaser of its upcoming comic superhero series titled The WONDERfools. The superhero comedy series marks the reunion of director Yoo In-sik of Extraordinary Attorney Woo with actor Park Eun-bin. Featuring Park Eun Bin and Cha Eun Woo in the lead roles, the series has generated a significant buzz. The freshly dropped teaser gives the audience a sneak peek into the female lead’s teleportation powers and the male protagonist’s telekinesis.

Set in 1999, the film follows ordinary people who unexpectedly gain superpowers, yet struggle to handle the responsibilities that come with them. Roll your eyes over to get a closer glimpse at the teaser.

The WONDERfools stars Park Eun Bin and Cha Eun Woo in the lead roles, while Son Kyung Hoon and Kang Robin join them. The teaser shows Park and co playing a game of roadside acrostics as they peel onions. As the teaser unfolds, we see how the friends first discover their superpowers. The group clumsily takes on their new roles as ‘heroes’ while trying to confront enemies that threaten the peace of Haeseong City.

According to Deadline, on Tuesday, the Motion Picture Association reported the Korean screen sector generated $17.1B in GDP last year.
