The Paradise Box Office Collection Day 1: Nani-Starrer Mints Rs 71 Cr Worldwide, Marking His Biggest Opening So Far

Headlined by Natural Star Nani, “The Paradise” was released in theatres on Sept. 24. Despite the sharp criticism, the film has turned out to be Nani’s biggest opening of his career. Helmed by Srikanth Odela, the film marks his second collaboration with Nani after “Dasara.” On the first day of its release, it minted Rs 34.65 crore net. As of day 2, it has crossed the Rs 50 Crore net mark.

The Paradise Box Office Collection Day 1 

A day before its anticipated premiere, on Sept. 23, the film collected Rs 11.60 crore by running across 900 shows with 79 percent. On the first day, it raked Rs 34.65 crore with 9,732 shows, registering 49.3 percent occupancy. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has collected Rs 8.31 crore as of 5 PM IST. This brings the drama’s net earnings to Rs 54.56 crore and Rs 64.71 crore gross in India. 

Talking about the overseas collection, the film has grossed a total of Rs 22 crore, pushing its total worldwide gross collection to Rs 76.90 crore. As the weekend unfolds, it is expected that the film may escalate its earnings and hit the Rs 100 crore mark.

For the unversed, reportedly, Nani’s other recent release, “Saripodhaa Sanivaaram,” earned Rs 98 crore worldwide, collected Rs 9 crore net in India and Rs 19.34 crore worldwide on Day 1 in 2024.
