Netflix surprised the fans by revealing that they will be releasing a documentary called One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 Documentary. The trailer shows the multitude of emotions the cast felt during the reading of the final episode. It also highlights the efforts it took to build a show with such a large scale; the Duffers also talk about Millie Bobby Brown’s Eleven/Jane’s fate in the final episode. If the finale made you tear up, based on what we see in the trailer, this documentary special is likely to make you weep even more.

One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5 will stream on Netflix on January 12, 2026. The special is directed by Martina Radwan, who said in a statement, “I’m endlessly grateful to the Duffer Brothers for trusting me with a front-row seat to this incredible journey.
