Spider-Man: Brand New Day, The Devil’s Mouth, The Devil Wears Prada 2: New Hollywood & OTT Releases Arriving This Week

July has almost come to an end, and now the eyes are all on the weekend releases. Not to forget, July’s end marks the arrival of the much-awaited Hollywood action adventure, Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Alongside, there are a couple of movies and OTT releases arriving to entertain the audience this week. From thrillers and adventurous films to actioners, there is something for everyone. New Hollywood Movies And OTT Releases of This Week (27 July to Aug 2)

1. Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is definitely one of the must-watch films of this week. Starring Tom Holland, Zendaya, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo in pivotal roles, it is the 38th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fourth installment, continuing the saga of its 2021 release. Helmed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film arrives in theatres on July 30, 2026. 

2. Batman: Caped Crusader season 2

Starring Hamish Linklater, Matthew Needham, Jamie Chung, Jason Watkins, and Eric Morgan Stuart, Batman: Caped Crusader season 2 arrives on Prime Video on July 31. Directed by Christina Sotta, Christopher Berkeley, and Matt Peters created a superhero animation set in the 1930s film-noir style. The series features darker, action-heavy investigations dealing with the power vacuum left by Penguin’s arrest and the official emergence of the Joker.

3. The Devil Wears Prada 2

After completing its theatrical run, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is set to arrive on JioHotstar starting from July 29. It follows Andy Sachs returning to work under Miranda Priestly two decades later. They must navigate the decline of print, a corporate PR crisis at Runway, and shifting power dynamics with Emily Charlton.

4. Colin from Accounts Season 3 

On July 27, Colin from Accounts Season 3 arrives on JioHotstar. Starring Harriet Dyer, Patrick Brammall, Zak, Buster, Emma Harvie, Helen Thomson, Genevieve Hegney, Michael Logo, Justin Rosniak, and Tai Hara in pivotal roles. The romance comedy picks up directly after Gordon’s awkward, failed public proposal to Ashley from the season two finale. It follows the chaotic comedic and emotional fallout as the mismatched couple navigates their complicated relationship status. 

5. The Devil’s Mouth

Featuring Lana Condor, Kathryn Newton, and Gavin Casalegno, The Devil’s Mouth is slated to arrive on Prime Video on July 29, 2026. The OTT film chronicles a group of college friends’ Thailand adventure, which turns deadly when they become trapped in submerged caves with a dangerous predator.
