On April 22, Sony Pictures India unveiled the teaser of Something Evil Refuses to Die. No sooner did they release the teaser than it intrigued fans and movie buffs with what’s next in store. The freshly dropped teaser of the Evil Dead Burn universe offers a glimpse of the brutal new chapter of terror. Slated to hit the theatres on July 10, the film is packed with dark and intense nightmares sprinkled with blood, grief, and demonic chaos. 

The first glimpse of the film is not only spine-chilling but also mind-boggling, promising an emotional horror experience. It kicks off with something that begins as a quiet attempt to heal and gradually transforms into a desperate fight for survival, packed with edge-of-the-seat tension and gripping scares. Directed by Sébastien Vaniček, Something Evil Refuses to Die stars Souheila Yacoub, alongside Tandi Wright, Hunter Doohan, Luciane Buchanan, Errol Shand, Maude Davey, George Pullar, and Greta Van Den Brink in pivotal roles. The one-minute-10-second sneak peek uncovers the Evil Dead franchise’s most savage and terrifying ride to date. 

The sixth film is all geared to hit the silver screens with a whole lot of carnage and demonic mayhem. The supernatural horror film chronicles the journey of a widow. After losing her husband, she seeks solace with her in-laws in their secluded family home. As one by one they are transformed into Deadites, turning the gathering into a family reunion from hell, she comes to discover that the vows she took in life live on even in death. 

Movie enthusiasts and the global audience need to wait until July 10, 2026, to know what more Evil Dead Burn has in its kitty. The sixth chapter is a standalone horror film following 2023’s Evil Dead Rise and will be released in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.
