The makers of Slum Dog – 33 Temple Road have unveiled an intriguing teaser featuring Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role. Directed and written by Puri Jagannadh, the revenge drama blends rage with survival. Ahead of its much-awaited release, the 1-minute, 15-second teaser gives the audience a sneak peek of the raw story of vengeance.

Alongside the lead actor, Tabu, Samyuktha, Zarina Wahab, VTV Ganesh, and Brahmaji appear in pivotal roles. The action-survival drama is expected to hit screens in June and will be released in five languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Slum Dog – 33 Temple Road Teaser OUT: What’s the Story?

The teaser of Slum Dog – 33 Temple Road portrays Vijay Sethupathi as a slum dweller who takes it upon himself to fight back when members of his community face injustice. In his struggle for survival, he pulls out all the stops to protect his people, setting the stage for a massive clash against evil forces.

The teaser kicks off with Vijay mentioning the harsh realities faced by beggars while issuing a stern warning to those who exploit them. Cut to a montage of action sequences, emotional moments, and character introductions appear, gradually revealing the film’s world without giving away many details of the plot. In addition to writing and directing the film, Puri Jagannadh has also produced the film, along with Charmme Kaur and JB Narayan Rao Kondrolla.
