The 252 crore drug case centres on the seizure of mephedrone traced to a manufacturing unit in Maharashtra’s Sangli district. Earlier this month, a drug trafficker who was arrested made staggering claims. According to submissions made by the ANC to a court in Mumbai, the trafficker is identified as Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh. He admitted to arranging high-end parties for celebrities where the drug was supplied. The drug trafficker is assumed to have been a close aide of fugitive drug kingpin Salim Dola, who is a key member of the Dawood gang.
B-town stars, including Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, her brother Siddhant Kapoor, Orry, film producers Abbas-Mustan, and rapper Loka, were on the guest list. Additionally, it is also reported that Baba Siddique’s son, NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique, and the son of Dawood’s deceased sister, Haseena Parkar, were also a part of the lavish parties. Amidst the spark of speculations, actress Nora Fatehi took it out on Instagram and issued a clarification saying, “I don’t go to parties, I’m always on flights, I’m a workaholic, I have no personal life, I don’t even associate with such people, and on my days off, I’m on the beach in Dubai or at home with my high school friends. I spend my entire day and night fulfilling my dreams and goals.”
The ANC gave Siddhant a 1 p.m. slot and questioned him for five hours. Following him was Orry, who arrived at the Ghatkopar unit at 1.30 p.m. He was asked to be there last Thursday, November 20; however, he had sought more time.
