Sardar 2 Trailer OUT: Karthi Returns as Agent Bose in the Action Thriller Sequel, Here’s What to Expect!

Starring Karthi and SJ Suryah, the makers of “Sardar 2” have unveiled a gripping trailer. It offers a glimpse into Agent Sardar’s world. Helmed by PS Mithran, the action thriller is slated to hit the theatres on Sept. 10. The newly released preview highlights the film’s titular character and his journey, leading up to the events of the 2022 prequel.

Karthi reprises his dual role as father and son. He portrays the younger version of Chandra Bose aka Sardar. He is a Murugan devotee recruited to conduct a black ops operation, which goes wrong. The rest of the film is hinted to connect Sardar’s mission with his son Vijay Prakash’s (Karthi) story.

The 2-minute-58-second trailer of “Sardar 2” begins with a flashback explaining an old event that Chandrabose, aka Sardar, had encountered. Despite his belief that the mission was completed, the collateral damage continues to haunt him. Years later, the old wounds resurface once again, with Black Dagger becoming his new foe.

Since the announcement and teaser drop, the gripping narrative has kept the audience hooked. Bankrolled by S Lakshman Kumar and Ishan Saksena, with A Venkatesh on board as the co-producer, the film is backed under the banners of Prince Pictures and Ivy Entertainment.
