Prime Video has dropped the second trailer of its upcoming investigative thriller, Raakh, starring Ali Fazal, Aamir Bashir, and Sonali Bendre in the lead roles. It is no news that the drama has heightened curiosity among netizens and fans since the announcement and first trailer reveal. Now that the second trailer is out, the audience can’t help but wait until June 12 for the drama to begin streaming.
Set against the 1970s backdrop, the fictional crime drama revolves around a shocking case that triggers a nationwide manhunt while exploring the complex intersection of crime, justice, and human emotions. Alongside the leads, the drama also stars Akash Makhija, Ramandeep Yadav, Divya Sharma, Vivaan Sharma, Anshul Chauhan, Rakesh Bedi, and Dibyendu Bhattacharya in key roles.

The new trailer of Prime Video’s Raakh kicks off on an unsettling note with a close-up shot of a pair of eyes accompanied by a chilling laugh. It introduces the audience to Babu, essayed by Akash Makhija, and Rajjo, played by Ramandeep Yadav. With the two of them at the centre of multiple disturbing crimes, a series is fueled by rapid and intense visuals.

Through sharp flashes of the crimes they’ve committed, the trailer gives us a glimpse into their troubled pasts, peeling back the layers of their twisted minds. For the unversed, the drama draws inspiration from the infamous Ranga-Billa case, where two men were arrested and later hanged for raping and murdering two teenagers in Delhi. As the drama unfolds, the hunt intensifies, and the stakes grow higher, promising a gripping battle between a determined cop and two of the most formidable adversaries he has ever faced.
