Priyanka Chopra Jonas And Orlando Bloom Unite for Matt Smukler’s Survival Thriller ‘Reset’, Deets Inside!

While fans and movie buffs in India are waiting for Priyanka Chopra Jonas and S.S. Rajamouli’s Varanasi to hit the theatres, the actress has announced her next Hollywood film titled Reset. Not just that, a day after the release of her spy thriller, Citadel season 2, Jonas has landed her next film. Directed by Matt Smukler, the survival thriller will be headlined by Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Orlando Bloom. According to reports, the film will go on the floor in August. 

Penned by Jordan Rawlins, Reset will follow the saga of a woman, played by Bollywood’s desi girl Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who wakes up in the middle of the wilderness, days from civilization, with no memory of how she got there. Later, she finds that her only chance at survival is to trust a charming stranger, portrayed by Bloom, who may not be who he says he is. Here are a few more details of the film.

Reset To Be Headlined By Priyanka Chopra Jonas And Orlando Bloom

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Orlando Bloom will share the screen in the survival thriller Reset. Bankrolled by Jon Hoeber & Erich Hoeber under their Fratricidal Films banner, Priyanka’s Purple Pebble Pictures, and Orlando’s Amazing Owl, along with Fratricidal Films, Chemically Altered, and Rhodes Entertainment, the upcoming film’s international sales will be launched at the Marché du Film in Cannes this year. 

Talking about the on-screen pairing of Jonas and Bloom, director Matt stated that he was looking for a pairing where attraction and mistrust could effortlessly coexist. Priyanka and Orlando have this uncanny ability to make the audience believe both at once. He also believes that their chemistry is undeniable. On the other hand, the producers, Jon and Hoeber, shared that writer Jordan Rawlins and Matt have created a gripping story of survival, romance, suspense, and deceit that is replete with shocking twists. All in all, eagle-eyed fans are waiting for more updates from the makers regarding the film.
