Presley Gerber, Son of Cindy Crawford, Passes Away at 27

On Sunday, Sept. 20, model Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, breathed his last at the age of 27. He passed away at a rehab facility after struggling with addiction and prescription medication dependency. 

According to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner, the former model’s cause of death is yet to be revealed. His publicist confirmed the news, stating, “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.”

Born in 1999, Presley Gerber was one of two children of Crawford and Gerber. Like his sister, Kaia Gerber, he stepped into the modeling industry, making his runway debut for Italian label Moschino at 16. Later, he walked the runway for Burberry, Dolce & Gabbana, Bottega Veneta, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren. In addition, he was also spotted in a variety of campaigns for Calvin Klein, Celine, Pepsi, and Omega. 

Presley Gerber’s demise was confirmed by Allie Jenkins, a representative for Crawford and Rande Gerber. Through an email, he shared, “The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.” All in all, his passing sparked a wave of grief in the industry while the family requested privacy during this tough time.
