Obsessed Retreat: Ananya Panday Joins Damian Hardung, Lili Reinhart to Celebrate Prime Video’s Young Adult Storytelling

This week, Prime Video’s “Obsessed Retreat: Class of ’26” was held on Sept. 7 and 8 in the Bavarian Alps, Germany. It brought together stars from its global young-adult slate, including Ananya Panday, Damian Hardung, Lili Reinhart, Irene Balmes, Fernando Lindez, Luca Melucci, Pau Simon, Carmen Kassovitz, Peppe Barroso, and more. The class spotlighted an expanded lineup of non-English-language International Originals from Spain, France, Germany, Italy, and India.

Inside Prime Video’s Obsessed Retreat

“Call Me Bae” star Ananya Panday, posed alongside Maxton Hall, “The World Between Us” fame Damian Hardung, and “The Love Hypothesis” star Lili Reinhart. Not just that, the class also brought together Pablo Scapigliati, Vittoria di Savoia, Mia Jenkins, Digeo Vidales, Hugo Diego Garcia, Ester Expósito, Gleb Abrosimov, Alicia Falco, Lisa-Marie Koroll, and Lucas Barski. 

Unveiling first-look images and the cast reveals across its expanding young-adult catalogue, the retreat was inspired by the campus-style settings at the heart of many International Originals. The stories on Prime Video’s slate are rooted in local culture with a universal appeal.

Nicole Clemens, VP and Head of International Originals at Amazon MGM Studios, shared that the audiences for the YA movies and series are shaping culture in real time. Binge-watchers don’t just watch; rather, they feel deeply and get obsessed. 

The Obsessed Retreat class revealed the first look at “Boys of Tommen,” featuring Nancy Surridge as Shannon Lynch and Conor Sánchez as Johnny Kavanagh. Moreover, it unveiled the look of “Love Me Love Me 2” starring Mia Jenkins, Pepe Barroso Silva, Luca Melucci and Andrea Guo; “Our Fault: London” headlined by Asha Banks and Matt Broome; and the cast video message from stars of Off Campus. All in all, the star gathering emphasizes Prime Video’s broader reach while targeting the youth this year.
