Prime Video’s Romance Drama ‘Rose Hill’ Based on Elsie Silver’s Best-Selling Novel Goes on Floors; Check Lead Cast HERE

On Tuesday, Prime Video took to its official social media timeline to unveil the lead cast of “Rose Hill”, a cowboy romance drama adapted from Elsie Silver’s best-selling novel. It is a four-book contemporary romance collection following four single dads in a Rocky Mountain lake town. The book series includes Wild Love, Wild Eyes, Wild Side and Wild Card. The book-to-screen adaptation will feature Jake Weary, Sean O’Pry, Hannah Galway, and Sadie Dickerson in the lead roles. 

The series was announced in May earlier this year. Yesterday, the author dropped a glimpse, announcing that the romance saga has gone on floors along with the lead cast reveal.

Prime Video’s Romance Drama ‘Rose Hill’Goes Under Production

Based on the Rose Hill novels written by Elsie Silver, the Prime Video series will feature Jake Weary as West Belmont, Ford Grant as Sean O’Pry, Hannah Galway as Rosie and Sadie Dickerson as Skylar Stone. The romance show follows the saga of best friends and neighbors West Belmont, a rancher with commitment issues, and brooding record label owner Ford Grant, aka Forbes’ “World’s Hottest Billionaire,” who’s long carried a torch for West’s sister, Rosie. And when country-pop star Skylar Stone breezes into their rugged mountain town, the heat gets turned way up in this romantic family drama.

According to Variety, the series is penned by Heidi Cole McAdams who also serves as the showrunner and executive producer on “Rose Hill.” The first two episodes will be directed by Marc Webb. The author, Silver, serves as an executive producer alongside Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen, and James Seidman for Temple Hill. Bookworms and romance-drama lovers now await further details from the OTT platform and the makers.
