On January 14, the official teaser of the much-delayed psychological thriller, Mayasabha: The Hall of Illusion, was finally unveiled. It marks a major comeback and the second directorial by Rahi Anil Barve, who rose to fame after the success of Tumbbad. All set to hit the big screen on January 30, 2026, fans can’t help but count the days of its much-anticipated release.

Mayasabha Teaser Trailer: What to Expect from Tumbbad Director’s Next Film

The teaser trailer of Mayasabha – The Hall of Illusion reveals three prominent characters. One is Jaaved Jaaferi, the mysterious man; the other is a 14-year-old kid, son of Jaaved Jaaferi’s character, who brings in two people from the outside world. The trailer is accompanied by a haunting voiceover from Jaaved Jaaferi, who recites a verse by Kabir. He talks about the underestimated powers of clay and everything that might look vulnerable but holds mysterious forces within.

Alongside the actor, the stellar starcast includes Veena Jamkar, Deepak Damle, and Tumbbad child artist Mohd. Samad. The teaser is packed with captivating visuals and striking originality that has a sense of fantasy and a dystopian world.
