On Sept. 9, 2026, the 62nd edition of the Maharashtra Film Awards was held at Ravindra Natya Mandir, Prabhadevi, Mumbai. The ceremony celebrated the finest work in Indian cinema. It also served to honour several other prominent figures in the film industry. Salim Khan was honoured with the Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award Award, while Rani Mukerji received the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award. Composer Hridaynath Mangeshkar received V.
