Suriya’s fantasy action drama Karuppu has completed its successful run in theatres. According to trade analysts, the film has continued its momentum in its fourth week, minting Rs 4.65 crore gross over the weekend. The movie collected over Rs 300 crore worldwide and has headed to Prime Video to entertain the audience globally. It will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video from June 12, 2026, and will be available in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Helmed by RJ Balaji, the film was titled Veerabhadrudu in the Telugu-speaking regions. It revolved around Suriya as Vettai Karuppu, a strong guardian deity. Alongside Suriya, the film also features Natti Nataraj, Swasika, Shivada, and Indrans in key roles. Talking about the narrative, the film was a perfect blend of myth, fantasy, and action, with the fight of a common man against a broken court system.
