Television actress Jiya Shankar has announced her engagement to long-distance boyfriend Kaaran with a series of romantic proposal pictures on Instagram. No sooner did she share the happy news with her fans and followers than they extended congratulatory messages to the couple. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 fame’s dreamy proposal took place in a picturesque garden overlooking the sea. She also wrote an emotional note for her fiancé in the caption.

On August 5, Jiya Shankar made her relationship with beau Kaaran Instagram-official. She shared a long post, along with a carousel of their proposal photoshoot. She penned a heartfelt note which read, “So maybe it is true, you do find love when you least expect it, but God really tested my patience here. It wasn’t easy, but somehow it still was. Every conversation with you, even though you were thousands of miles away from me, felt like home. This journey wasn’t easy, but we chose each other every single day.“

Jiya was spotted in a stunning in a flowy yellow dress, while Kaaran complemented her in an elegant off-white outfit. Kaaran proposed to Jiya by putting a diamond ring on her finger against an outdoor location and the setting sun.

She further added, “You showed me the love I waited my whole life for. You made me laugh on my toughest days. Held me a lil tighter every time at airport goodbyes like your heart was breaking into a thousand pieces. No matter where we were in the world – home was never a place; it was always you.” Calling her partner Goofball, ABCD, and best friend, she shared, “Life is definitely an adventure with you, and it happens to be my favourite rom-com.
