Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda tied the knot on February 26 in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in the presence of close family and friends. On March 4, they hosted a grand, star-studded wedding reception at Taj Krishna in Hyderabad. 

The couple has been busy with post-wedding celebrations. The most-loved duo visited temples to seek the blessings and celebrated their new chapter of life with their extended family. Right from distributing sweets nationwide, donating food, performing traditional rituals in Vijay’s ancestral village, pledging scholarships for ninth and tenth grade across 44 government schools, to hosting a special luncheon and meet-and-greet session with fans, and a press conference with the Telugu press, the Dear Comrade co-stars have been melting hearts. Not just that, they broke the trend-oriented celebratory wedding fad and chose to honor their traditions. Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna got married through Telugu and Kodava traditions. The Geetha Govindham stars traditional wedding attire left netizens awestruck, while for their big star-powered Hyderabad Reception look, they once again chose traditions over trends. Before commencing the Reception, the couple made a stylish entry in front of the media and extended their sincere gratitude. Vijay and Rashmika were seen walking hand in hand as they arrived to pose for the paparazzi.

Rashmika spotted a stunning red Mysore silk saree, featuring a black and gold border. It was accentuated by the Gandaberunda motif, which was also the highlight of her gold-layered necklace by SHREE Jewels. Additionally,  she accessorized her traditional flair with an odiyanam (a waistband), dramatic earrings, lotus-lined bangles, and a hathphool.

With her hair tied back, a sleek centre-parted braid adorned with red flowers, she exuded pure elegance and grace. For makeup, she kept it minimal, just like her wedding. Smoky eyes, glossy brown lips, and tinted cheeks elevated her glow, but it was her sindoor and bindi that elevated her newlywed glow. 

Meanwhile, Vijay complemented her in an ivory classic traditional veshti-shirt set featuring a silver border.  While sporting a bottu on his forehead, he accessorized his attire with a white gold kada on his wrist, a necklace, and a black watch. To complete his look, he opted for brown shoes. Undoubtedly, the couple served major fashion goals for 2026’s brides and grooms.

The grand Hyderabad Reception was graced by several Hollywood, Bollywood, Tollywood, and Kollywood superstars.
