After completing its theatrical run, Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos is finally aal geared up to captivate the attention of the global audience through its digital debut. Released on January 16, the satirical comedy stars stand-up comedian Vir Das as the lead, and Mona Singh, Sumukhi Suresh, Aamir Khan, Sharib Hashmi, and Srushti Tawde in key roles. Backed by Khan’s production house, the comedy drama is also directed by Vir Das. Post three months, the film is set to lay its digital footprints on Netflix on April 1, 2026.

The Hindi-language spy action-comedy film, starring Vir Das, revolves around Happy Patel, a chef living in London with two ex-MI7 spies. They want him to become a spy for the British government, but Happy keeps failing the MI7 entrance test. However, he is eventually recruited by MI7 and sent to Goa to find a missing British scientist. His adventures in Goa set the main plot of the narrative. Audience and fans can now witness the laughter riot from the comfort of their homes. Starting from April 1, 2026, the movie will be available on Netflix.
Happy Patel blends satire with light-hearted espionage. It received mixed responses from both critics and audiences. It raked in a worldwide collection of Rs 7.36 crore and Rs 7.36 crore net in India. Talking about its overseas earnings, the film minted Rs 6.21 crore in net by running across 16,672 shows.
