Gustaakh Ishq and Tere Ishq Mein: Check Out Their Box Office Collection and OTT Release

Vijay, Fatima, and Naseeruddin Shah’s Gustaakh Ishq has captivated audiences within the first 30 minutes. The poetic narrative promises an unmissable range of emotions with a magical blend of old-school romance and true love. Not to forget, it is the directorial debut of the celebrated fashion designer Manish Malhotra. On the other hand, Tere Ishk Mein showcases a raw, emotionally charged love story, rooted in Anand L. Rai’s strong storyline. Gustaakh Ishq and Tere Ishq Mein: Box Office Collection 

Gustaakh Ishq has been made on a budget of Rs 25 crore, whereas Tere Ishk Mein has been made with a budget of Rs 85 crore and has been shot in Delhi, Varanasi, and Mumbai. According to early estimates from Sacnilk, it has performed poorly, earning just Rs 50 lakh on its first day.

Dhanush and Kriti Sanon starrer film has crossed the mark of Rs 10 crore on the opening day itself, with earnings in three different movie industries, i.e., Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. The South star has set a unique box-office record, becoming only the second Tamil star to do so, after Rajinikanth.

Gustaakh Ishq is set in the narrow lanes of Old Delhi and the fading kothis of Punjab. The stellar ensemble includes Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Sharib Hashmi, each portraying a character worth remembering. The theme explores passion, longing, and unspoken affection, accentuated by evocative visuals and splendid music. 

Tere Ishq Mein is an impulsive story of a young man (Dhanush) who falls deeply in love with Mukti, played by Bollywood diva Kriti Sanon. The movie follows a theme of a college romance that begins with warmth and innocence, and later transforms into an obsessive chaos. 

Gustaakh Ishq and Tere Ishq Mein: OTT Release

According to the OTT Play report, Gustaakh Ishq will stream on an OTT platform four to eight weeks after its theatrical release. The makers have sealed a deal with JioHotstar for its digital debut. On the other hand, Tere Ishq Mein will stream on Netflix. If the film sticks to the standard OTT window, the OTT release is expected around December 26, 2025, and January 23, 2026, depending on its box-office collection.
