New Films And OTT Releases This Week (Sept 28 to Oct 3)

1. Drishyam 3

Starring Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Raj in the lead roles, “Drishyam 3” is all set to hit the theatres on Oct. 2. The saga of Vijay Salgaonkar continues in last chapter of the franchise as new evidence threatens to expose his family’s past secrets. The arrival of a new investigator raises the stakes, pushing the cat-and-mouse game into dangerous territory.

2. Verity

Based on American author Colleen Hoover, the psychological romance thriller, “Verity” is all set to arrive in cinema halls on Oct. 2. Starring Anne Hathaway as Verity Crawford, Dakota Johnson as Lowen Ashleigh, and Josh Hartnett as Jeremy Crawford, the story revolves around Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling New York writer who accepts a life-changing financial offer to complete the remaining three books of a wildly successful thriller series.

3. Dupahiya Season 2

Dupahiya Season 2 returns to the fictional village of Dhadakpur for more small-town chaos and higher-stakes crime. The Hindi comedy-drama 3 premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Oct. 1, 2026.

4. Prem Keetanu

Featuring Veer Pahariya, Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay, “Prem Keetanu” coming-of-age romantic comedy-drama scheduled for release on Oct. 2, 2026. Set against the chaotic backdrop of Uttar Pradesh and Delhi-NCR, the story explores the journey of a carefree college student named Vishal as he navigates friendship, family expectations, and first love.

5. Bethlehem Kudumba Unit

Starring Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead roles, “Bethlehem Kudumba Unit” is all set for its OTT debut on Prime Video. The Malayalam romantic comedy-drama  is set against the backdrop of a tight-knit Catholic neighborhood and community committee. The film follows Ashley and her family as they move into a new home opposite Justin in Ernakulam.
