The most anticipated third installment is all set to return to the big screen in April 2026, while the audience may have to wait until October 2, 2026, for its Hindi remake.

Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 Release Date Revealed? Check It Out

At the inauguration of the Centre for Advanced Uro-Oncology at Rajagiri Hospital, Drishyam 3 director responded to questions from the faculty members. One of them expressed their eagerness for the third instalment of the popular franchise Drishayam. The highly suspenseful crime thriller series has influenced many people, and it carries a great weight of its own.

Drishyam is a movie that has influenced lots of people. I still bear the impact of it. So, without too many expectations, you may watch the movie in the first week of April in the theatres. The release date will be officially announced soon,” said Director Joseph at the event. The third part of the movie will serve as a natural progression in Georgekutty’s journey, moving away from the tightly wound thriller structure of the second instalment. All in all, the original Malayalam movie will be released six months before its Hindi remake, headlined by Ajay Devgn.

The franchise has gained a massive fan following across India and beyond. The first part, released in 2013, revolved around Mohanlal’s character, Georgekutty, who goes to extraordinary lengths to protect his family after a crime. The 2021 sequel continued the story years later. Now, the audience awaits the third part to unfold. Additionally, the director also spoke about his upcoming release, confirming Valathuvashathe Kallan, starring Biju Menon and Joju George, will meet the audience in theatres on January 30.
