The spy-thriller follows a story of Pakistan’s socio-ethnic conflicts and the nexus between terrorism and state machinery through an amalgamation of fact and fiction. As per reports, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India, the makers have been asked to mute two words and one dialogue in reference to Baloch.

On the other hand, there has been a certain amount of speculation over the characters’ identities. However, the makers of the film paid no heed to the social media discussions and comments. The audience assumes that Ranveer Singh’s character is inspired by Major Mohit Sharma. However, the Censor Board confirmed that Aditya Dhar’s movie is purely a work of fiction. After undergoing expected alterations, it is interesting to know how largely the revised version of the blockbuster affects or affects the audience.

Alongside Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar boasts a stellar cast including Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Sanjay Dutt in crucial roles. The film was released in theatres on December 5, 2025, and it is still performing well at the box office.
