As Dhurandhar steps closer to achieving the Rs 500 crore milestone worldwide, it is still difficult to accept that an A-certified film has been performing stupendously well on a working day 12. The box office numbers are mind-boggling, but the film doesn’t seem to stop setting new benchmarks anytime soon.
Dhurandhar is Ranveer Singh’s highest-grossing film, which has earned Rs 411 crore net in India and Rs 639 crore globally. Besides Ranveer Singh, mega stars like Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Sara Arjun, and R. Madhavan have played a pivotal role, making the film a grand success. Released on December 5, 2025, it jets off to enter the Rs 1000 crore club. By the end of the first week, the movie had collected Rs 207.25 cr in India, while in its second week, on December 17, the film had made a total of Rs 420.43 crore.
The blockbuster film is inspired by a set of real-life events, ranging from the 2001 Parliament attack and the 26/11 Mumbai terror attack. Its second installment is slated for release on March 19, 2026. It is indeed intriguing to know what more the film has in store.
