Dhurandhar Box Office Collection: Ranveer Singh’s Film Crosses Rs. 40 Crores in Two Days

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ has collected around Rs. 40 crores or above. The trailer has received millions of views and much praise for Ranveer’s acting. The film’s advanced bookings soared in high numbers.

The movie released on over 5,000 screens on opening day across India. The film had stunning advanced booking too. Bookings for ‘Dhurandhar’ in advance started on Monday. The movie quickly surpassed the Rs. 1 crore threshold during its successful debut. But after that, its profits decreased somewhat. Roughly a day and a half before its release, at 2 pm on Wednesday, the movie’s opening day advance bookings had totaled around Rs. 2.28 crore. Throughout the nation, about 50,000 tickets have been purchased, according to media reports.

Despite conflicting reviews, positive reactions from viewers have given ‘Dhurandhar’ confidence. This has resulted in a lot of positive feedback from the audience and his fans. The movie could gross over Rs. 90 crore net in its first weekend if it continues its momentum.

In India, ‘Dhurandhar’ exceeded expectations and outperformed expectations in the home market, bringing in a net income of Rs. 27 crore on its debut. According to Sacnilk, this contributed to the movie making a net of Rs. 15.35 crores in India by 7 pm on Saturday. The movie’s net domestic box office collection is, currently Rs. 42.35 crore.

As on Saturday, the trend persisted. Compared to 15% on Friday, the morning shows on Saturday had an occupancy of 18%. The afternoon show attendance increased from 28% to 35% as well. Aditya Dhar is the director of the film, which takes place in the early 2000s. It’s a spy thriller. The main cast also features Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal and R. Madhavan, as well as Sara Arjun and Rakesh Bedi.
