Dacoit Teaser: Adivi Sesh, Mrunal Thakur Heist Promises a Thrilling Ride Fueled by Action, Brutal Conflicts & Racy Cuts

Starring Indian actor and director Adivi Sesh and actress Mrunal Thakur in lead roles, Dacoit: A Love Story is the most anticipated action thriller, set to arrive next year. No sooner had the makers unveiled the teaser on December 18, 2025, than movie fans were intrigued to learn more about what the film had to offer. As of now, it is evident that Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur are in a full heist mode. Directed by Shaneil Deo, the movie is loaded with nail-biting action, chilling thrills, brutal conflict, racy cuts, and, of course, a dash of romance. 

Adivi Sesh’s Dacoit Movie Teaser: What to Expect?

Billed as 2026’s most anticipated action spectacle, the film will be competing at the box office with Yash’s Toxic and Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna’s Dhurandhar 2 on Mar. 19, 2026, jetting off the Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Eid celebrations. Through its teaser trailer, the film has garnered the attention of fans with its high-octane scale, intensity, and gripping storytelling. The 1-minute, 36-second-long teaser promises to be fueled with intense action and violence. 

The Hindi-language teaser trailer features the melodies of the vintage song Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast. The Telugu version plays Kanne Pettaro from Nagarjuna Akkineni’s Hello Brother, adding punk to the drama. What makes the movie bold and unapologetic is the duo who share a past and are engaged in a mission of a lifetime, turning into modern-day dacoits. Through the intriguing moments and slick editing, movie buffs are impressed with the cast’s never-before-seen avatars. In addition to Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, the stellar ensemble cast includes Anurag Kashyap as a deadly antagonist, Prakash Raj, Sunil, Atul Kulkarni, Zayn Marie Khan, and Kamakshi Bhaskarla. 

Marking cinematographer Shaneil Deo’s directorial debut, the movie is written by him and Adivi Sesh, under the guidance of Abburi Ravi. Produced by Supriya Yarlagadda with Suniel Narang, fans expect Dacoit to be the next year’s hit alongside Toxic and Dhurandhar.
