Chand Mera Dil Release Date Out: Ananya Panday And Lakshya’s Romance Drama to Hit Theatres on THIS Date

There is an array of films to be released in 2026. One of them is Chand Mera Dil, starring Ananya Panday and Lakshya in lead roles. Backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film finally locked a release date of May 8, 2026. Directed by Vivek Soni, it marks the first on-screen pairing of the lead actors. 

The film was initially announced in late 2024. Then, it was scheduled to hit theatres in 2025. However, the makers postponed the release to 2026. Reportedly, the film was slated for release on April 10, 2026, but shifted to May.

Chand Mera Dil Release Date Revealed!

Last year, the makers dropped a carousel of pictures announcing Ananya and Lakshya’s collab in a Vivek Soni film. It included four posters. Since then, eagle-eyed fans were intrigued to know more details about the fresh pairing and Chand Mera Dil’s release date. The first poster featured the lead characters glancing at the camera with their faces half covered by a sweater. In the second poster, the leads were seen having a romantic moment in a room. In the third, they sat by the sea while the moon witnessed their romantic conversation, and in the fourth, shows a tender moment between the couple.

Chand Mera Dil is hence one of the most anticipated films of 2026. Lakshya returns to the silver screen after nearly three years. Earlier, he was spotted in the action film Kill and Aryan Khan’s directorial debut series, The Ba***ds of Bollywood. On the other hand, Ananya Panday made her debut with Kesari Chapter 2, followed by Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri. Fans now await Dharma Productions’ Chand Mera Dil.
