The trailer of Can This Love Be Translated? Makes heart flutter. It is definitely a swoon-worthy South Korean romcom that’s breezy, light-hearted, and charming. Written by the acclaimed Hong sisters, Hong Jung-eun and Hong Mi-ran, the television series is a heart-melting love story of a global celebrity Cha Mu-hee, and her multilingual translator, Joo Ho-jin. Unexpected romance begins to blossom between the two, despite their differing views on love. Gradually, their interactions brim with comedic misunderstandings, and they begin to spend more time together. As their rapport and connection deepen, their interaction transforms into delightful conversations and moments of mutual understanding. 

The globe-trotting production is directed by Yoo Young-eun and shot on location across Japan, Canada, Italy, and additional international territories. The drama provides a cross-border setting that expands beyond the typical parameters of K-drama rom-coms. The stellar cast also includes Sota Fukushi as Hiro Kurosawa, a Japanese actor who joins Mu-hee on a dating trip show, as well as Lee E-dam and Choi Woo-sung.
