Netflix’s most-loved series, Bridgerton, has been renewed for a fourth season on January 29, 2026. Season 4 centers around Benedict, the second son, and Sophie Baek and her employers. The Cinderella-like vibes ignited by the teaser have already piqued fans’ interest. Their love story had started at a glittering masquerade hosted by Violet Bridgerton. 

For those who are still clueless, let us tell you that the Bridgerton season 4 is adapted from Julia Quinn’s novel ‘An Offer from a Gentleman’. The romance novel is a version of Cinderella, featuring Sophie, who sneaks away to a ball where she meets Benedict. Yerin Ha plays the lead character, while Luke Thompson essays the role of Benedict. In the new season of Bridgerton, fans can expect both drama and dazzle, along with a new star cast. Here are the names of those who have become part of the show.

Bridgerton Season 4: What to Expect? 

Bridgerton Season 4 introduced a new protagonist, who is employed by the Gun and Li family. Similar to Cinderella, the family consists of a widow, Araminta, along with her daughters Rosamund and Posy, who make poor Sophie work tirelessly. Katie Leung portrays the role of Lady Araminta Gun, who is twice-married and twice-widowed. Connecting to the story of Cinderella, she is Sophie’s evil stepmother. Harry Potter fans will recognise the actress as Hogwarts student Cho Chang from Ravenclaw House.

Michelle Mao plays the role of Rosamund Li, the eldest daughter of Araminta and her most prized possession. She is vain and unkind to Sophie. Moreover, she plans to nab Benedict as a husband this social season. Isabella Wei essays the role of Posy Li, Araminta’s younger daughter. She is sweet and empathetic towards Sophie. As the series begins, Araminta has two daughters ready to be married and wants to align with a powerful and titled family. She mistreats Sophie and makes her a maid who is more like a slave, by making her work from morning to day.

At the ball, Benedict locks eyes with a stunning stranger in silver behind her mask. They shake a leg and share a heated moment. However, as the clock strikes midnight, Sophie runs off just like Cinderella. But, fate drops her into the ‘Bridgerton’ orbit as hired help. Gradually, Luke Thompson, who is spotted flexing as Benedict, falls for her. It is, indeed, interesting to watch how the fresh installment of Bridgerton nails romance with an edge as Benedict learns love demands risk, while Sophie grabs her shot at joy.
