Is Indian Cinema facing a Freedom Crisis?

This year, Indian Cinema witnessed blockbuster hits and created Box Office Records. This year was also Fortunate in terms of global acclaim and awards , which are worth celebrating.

Wins and applause are a great reason to celebrate but what about the soul of this medium that’s Freedom of Expression which cannot be Ignored.

We cannot overlook some Masterpiece stories and like Phule and Santosh, which gained Global Acclaim but faced Local Bans.
Isn’t it a point of introspection about a bitter question that Indian cinema is facing a content crisis?

The biggest concern is not to criticize but to find some empowering way which can support cinematic voices without barriers.
Indian audiences deserve to watch such enriched cinematic stories which could fill the gap between the audience and the brilliant cinematic voices which somehow cannot make their way to cinemas.
