Akshay Kumar isn’t settling for anything less this year with Bhoot Bangla on his plate. This morning, the makers of the horror-comedy revealed the much-anticipated teaser of the film. Directed by Priyadarshan, the movie marks the reunion of the actor-director after 2007’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa. The 1-minute-30-second clip is nothing short of a laughter riot, promising the perfect balance of horror and humor. Slated to release on April 10, 2026, the motion posters and teaser have fueled the buzz.
The teaser is packed with comedic scenes and funny dialogues, along with some haunting moments. Jointly produced by Akshay Kumar, Ekta Kapoor, and Shobha Kapoor, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Rajpal Yadav in key roles.
Akshay Kumar took to his social media handles to share a playful post of Bhooth Bangle. He wrote, “One haunted Bangla and a whole lot of chaos. Stay tuned, because the #BhoothBanglaTeaser drops today! #BhoothBangla in cinemas on 10th April 2026.”
The teaser kicks off with a voice-over, “In Mangalpur, no one gets married,” and warns of “Vadhusur“. As the teaser unfolds, it introduces Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar’s characters and their funny altercation with Asrani and Rajpal Yadav. Moreover, it hints at Akshay’s comic role. He is spotted looking for a perfect place to get married, and he finds an old, but haunted haveli. While the scary and humorous scenes appear, the clip shows someone watching the family. With a glimpse of Tabu and Wamiqa Gabbi, the teaser leaves the audience intrigued. If you look closely, it is the same haveli where Manjulika resided as a ghost.
Bhooth Bangla will hit the theatres on April 10, clashing with Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s Dacoit.
