On Salman Khan’s 60th birthday, the intriguing teaser for his upcoming film, Battle of Galwan, was released. Slated for release on April 17, 2026, the cinematic marvel follows the story of the June 2020 clash between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley, Ladakh. The 1-minute 12-second teaser garnered the attention of the masses worldwide, leaving them intrigued to know the inside details of the clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers during the war. 

It is no news that Bollywood’s Bhaijaan loves surprising his fans, and this year too, on December 27, 2025, Salman gave the most anticipated return gift to his fans. Salman Khan’s Battle of Galwan Teaser: What to Expect?

Battle of Galwan teaser kicks off with the powerful patriotic dialogue of the B-town superstar. Sporting an army uniform, he leads his battalion from the front. Despite a head injury, the 60-year-old actor’s powerful demeanor remains unshakable. With a log in his hands and a broad smile on his face, it is evident that he is unstoppable. 

Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the India-China war drama is based on the best-selling novel, ‘India’s Most Fearless’. It narrates the June 15, 2020, Galwan Valley violent clash between the Indian and Chinese troops that took place in eastern Ladakh. It triggered the deadliest confrontation between the two sides in more than four decades. 

Stepping into the shoes of Colonel Santosh Babu, Salman Khan appears to be fearless. As a courageous soldier, he doesn’t mind losing his life. He is only committed to saving his men and his country. Though the movie is based on true events, it is not a biopic.

Braving the chilling weather of Ladakh, the film has been shot on real locations. Produced by Salman Khan Films, the war-action drama also features Chitrangada Singh in the female lead role. Through the film, strong messages of humanity are delivered at their best.  

On the other hand, Chinese media outlets have accused the Battle of Galwan of “distorting facts” and fabricating history. Reports indicate that China claims Indian troops unlawfully crossed the Line of Actual Control (LAC), instigating the conflict. This assertion contradicts the potential portrayal of the Indian viewpoint in the film.
