Awarapan 2 Box Office Collection: Emraan Hashmi Records His First-Ever Rs 140 Crore Worldwide

Emraan Hashmi is currently winning all hearts with his blockbuster “Awarapan 2.” The romance drama has surpassed the Rs 100 crore club. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film has grossed Rs 120.33 crore in India. Talking about the overseas market, it garnered Rs 23.80 crore, bringing the film’s total worldwide collection to Rs 144.13 crore.

Released on Aug. 14, 2026, the film surpassed the Rs 100 crore mark, making Hashmi’s biggest hit of his 18-year-long career. As of Day 6 11.30 AM IST, “Awarapan 2” has collected a net of Rs 32 crore by running across 2,923 shows.

On the first day, “Awarapan 2” opened with Rs 22 crore. Following the Independence Day weekend, the film collected Rs 33.75 crore on Saturday by running across 10,496 shows with 55 percent occupancy. The next day, it earned Rs 26 crore with 9,403 shows and witnessed 45 percent occupancy. 

Despite locking horns with Sunny Deol’s “Batwara 1947” and Suriya and Mamitha’s “Vishwanath & Sons,” the romance drama continued its momentum at the box office. On its first Monday, it minted Rs 9.25 crore through 10,849 shows, and the following day, it raked in Rs 9.75 crore by running a total of 11,060 shows. This brings its gross collection in India to Rs 120.70 crore. 

Helmed by Nitin Kakkar and bankrolled by Vishesh Bhatt under the banner of Vishesh Films, “Awarapan 2” is a sequel to the 2007 film “Awarapan.” Even after years, Emraan Hashmi’s aura and on-screen charisma continue to create a frenzy. Besides him, the film also boasts a stellar cast including Disha Patani, Puran Gabbi, Aniruddh Rawal, Shabana Azmi, Suvinder Vicky, Vijayant Kohli and Atul Kumar in pivotal roles.
