Amitabh Bachchan and his association with Kaun Banega Crorepati need no introduction. As the KBC season 17 came to an end, the veteran actor delivered a heart-warming speech. While appearing emotional, he extended gratitude to the audience for their unwavering support. Not just that, the 83-year-old actor left fans delighted with a special musical performance.

During the finale episode of the show, Big B reminisced about all the good times that had happened throughout the year and what the future holds for everyone. The cherry on the cake was his non-stop 30-minute singing performance, wherein he sang a few of his classic songs.

As Amitabh Bachchan thanked the audience for their love and support throughout the years. With a heavy heart, he started his speech by saying, “Kabhi Kabhi hum kisi pal ko itna jee lete hai, jisme itna kho jate hai hum ki jab wo pal apne aakhri chhor main hota hai toh lagta hai jaise ki arey abhi abhi toh shuru hua tha, aur itni jaldi khatam bhi ho raha hai. Sab kuch aisa lagta hai maano, kal ki hi baat thi. Inhi bhawnao se guzarte hue main khel ki akhri din ki shuruat karne ja raha hu. Apne jiwan ka ek tihayi, one third of my life se jyada hissa aap sabke sath bitana, mere liye bade saubhagya ki baat thi.” He meant sometimes, we live a moment so deeply, we get so lost in it, that when that moment reaches its final point, it feels as if it had just started, and yet it’s ending so soon. Everything feels like it was just yesterday. As the actor goes through these emotions, he is about to begin the last day of the game. Spending more than one-third of his life in association with KBC has been a great fortune for him. 

Furthermore, the Sholay actor created history by singing his classic hits, including Rang Barse from Silsila (1981), Hori Khele Raghuveera from Baghban, Chalat Musafir from Teesri Kasam, and Mere Angne Mein from Laawaris, for over 30 minutes. Undoubtedly, the short teaser posted by Sony LIV’s on Instagram and YouTube described the moment as “a once-in-a-lifetime” experience, encouraging the audience to watch the finale.
