On Wednesday, Yash Raj Films unveiled the teaser for Alpha, which is set to arrive in cinemas a week earlier, on 3 July 2026, instead of 10 July 2026. Starring Alia Bhatt, Sharvari Wagh, Anil Kapoor, and Bobby Deol in the lead roles, the high-octane thriller is bankrolled by Aditya Chopra and directed by Shiv Rawail. In recent Bollywood memory, the gripping teaser had been one of the most anticipated drops. Now that the audience has gotten a glimpse of what to expect from the female-led entry in the YRF spy universe, fans are intrigued to know what’s more in store. 

After months of delays and anticipation, the makers have finally raised the curtain and let the cat out of the bag. Alpha Teaser Unveiled: Alia Bhatt to Step into the Shoes of a Fierce Spy, Guided by Bobby Deol

The 1-minute-55-second teaser for Alpha has undoubtedly left fans and audiences hooked. As a part of Yash Raj Films’ spy thriller, the first glimpse of the mass actioner features Alia Bhatt and Bobby Deol. Deol plays the role of Alia Bhatt’s father, who prepares her for unimaginable tasks as a spy. To be precise, the sneak peek tells the saga of a girl who is raised and trained to become a young operative for high-risk missions. 

The intriguing teaser kicks off with Alia’s character Sita celebrating her 18th birthday at a restaurant with her dad, played by Bobby Deol. The happy moment begins to fade when Deol gives her a mysterious gift that contains a coded message. It marks the beginning of her first mission. 

Cut to, Alia is spotted in a new avatar, performing high-octane action sequences and showcasing her strength as a spy. Meanwhile, flashbacks appear about how Deol trained her daughter to become part of a secret mission known as “Alpha,” an elite program designed to train India’s next generation of warriors. Overall, it hints at a thrilling espionage adventure.

The full-scale action entertainer Alpha will be released in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil on July 3, 2026. For the unversed, the franchise has grown through major titles including Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Pathaan, Tiger 3, and War 2.
