Ranveer Singh’s reason for exiting or slowing down the shoot of Don 3 was his unwillingness to do back-to-back gangster-theme films. On the other hand, Akshaye Khanna has reportedly stepped away from Drishyam 3 following disagreements with the production team over remuneration and creative direction. According to the reports, the actor requested notable changes to his on-screen appearance, which did not align with the makers’ vision for the film. The news is yet to be confirmed by the makers and actors themselves. Fans and media are still guessing the real cause of the actor’s sudden decision. 

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, Drishyam 3 marks the return of Ajay Devgn in the reprising role of Vijay Salgaonkar. The suspense thriller also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Ishita Dutta in key roles. The film is slated for a theatrical release on October 2, 2026. Meanwhile, Akshaye Khanna continues to soar to greater heights with the Dhurandhar box office flame.
