Reportedly, the actor is pitted against Ajay Devgn and is going to make the next part bigger and bolder with comic chaos. Since 2006, the laughter riot has left no stone unturned in entertaining the audience with its stellar starcast, mind-boggling humor, and captivating narrative.

According to reports, the upcoming film will explore fantasy elements, offering an interesting narrative shift from the franchise’s trademark prank-driven situational comedy. As Akshay Kumar steps into the villain era, he might feature as the lead antagonist. Moreover, the rumor mill suggests that Sharman Joshi may reprise his role, while Kareena Kapoor Khan’s too will join the club. Reportedly, Golmaal 5 is scheduled to kickstart by the end of February 2026 at Film City in Mumbai, with a target theatrical release in early 2027. The film might be preparing for an explosive comeback, marking the franchise’s two-decade anniversary
