Ajay Devgn Replaces Anup Soni to Host Crime Patrol, More Deets Inside!

Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is all geared up to step into the shoes of a host for “Crime Patrol,” India’s widely popular Television series. The actor has replaced the long-time host and primary narrator, Anup Soni. Devgn took to his social media handles to share another promo of the real-crime show. Announcing his television hosting debut on the true-crime series, he wrote, “Iss baar main rahunga aapke saath…Crime Patrol 2026 – Crime Ka Current Season #CrimePatrol2026 #CrimeKaCurrentSeason #CrimeToday #ComingSoon.” The series will premiere on Aug. 31 on Sony Entertainment Television.

Ajay Devgn to Host Crime Patrol

Ajay Devgn is all set to make his television host debut with Sony Liv’s “Crime Patrol: Crime Ka Current Season.” No sooner did the B’town actor share the promo of the show on his social media than the audience flooded the comment section with anticipation and excitement. A fan wrote, “The Boss is here! Crime Patrol just reached a whole new level. Can’t wait to watch.” Another one wrote, “Nobody presents intense reality better than the Legend himself.” While remembering the primary host Anup Soni, a fan penned, “BajiRao Singham As Anup Soni Damm.” 

Speaking about his association with the show, Ajay shared that being part of Crime Patrol is more of a responsibility towards its viewers. He further added, “The show has built a legacy of understanding crime stories while driving awareness among viewers, encouraging them to become more vigilant about the people around them and who they interact with and trust.” Moreover, he also shed light on the stories that will be featured on the show. He believes to help and guide the audience to navigate with caution rather than fear.
