The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination is scheduled to take place on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2026. The first paper will be given twice daily on January 21-24, with the morning session taking place from 9 am to 12 pm and the afternoon session taking place from 3 pm to 6 pm, according to the reports.

On the last day of the test window, JEE Main 2026’s Paper 2 will be held in a single session, from 9 am to 12:30 pm. After the admit card is released, candidates taking the test should pay close attention to the timing of their shift and the specifics of their paper.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main 2026 admission cards for session 1 on January 17. The official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, allows registered candidates to download their hall tickets. Now, the NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 hall tickets for the January 21-24 examinations, as mentioned above. Students must note this. The NTA would release the JEE admission cards for the tests scheduled for January 28 and 29, the agency said later.

Additionally, candidates are responsible for making sure that the QR code and barcode are accessible on the JEE Main 2026 admit card during the download. The documents necessary to obtain the admission card for the JEE Main 2026 exam are: 1) Number of the application, 2) Password and 3) Security pin.
