IIM Bangalore’s 2026 Placement: 596 Students Secure 664 Offers from Diverse Industries

The Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM, Bangalore) has completed the last and lateral placement procedure for the Post Graduate Programme (PGP) and Post Graduate Programme in Business Analytics (PGPBA) batch of 2024-26, with 596 students receiving a total of 664 job offers from 177 recruiters.

The institute reports that management consulting led the way, making up 45% of all opportunities, followed by jobs in technology and product management at 15% and investment banking at 11%.

The firm that made the most offers during the placement season was Accenture Strategy, which made 94 offers. The fact that about 35% of the firms that took part were recruiting for the first time overall indicates an expanding recruiter base. The top recruiters by volume were Accenture (including Accenture Strategy) with 101 offers, followed by Boston Consulting Group (29), Bain & Company (23), EY-Parthenon (23), American Express (15), Kearney (13) and Tata Consultancy Services (11).
