CBSE Class 12 Result 2026: 85.20% Students Pass, Slight Drop than Previous Year; Girls Outperform Boys by 6.73%
Passing the 12th exam is a major milestone for higher education and overseas studies. Now, the CBSE 12th class results are out and students can check their score and download the mark sheet. Students can visit the direct links.
This year, a total of 18,57,517 students enrolled in the exam. According to the CBSE, girls’ pass rate of 88.86% was 6.73% higher than boys’ 82.13%. The board’s total pass rate for this year was 85.20%, which is 3.9% lower than the previous year.
Students enrolled in foreign schools that are affiliated with the CBSE have a slightly lower pass rate in their overall performance statistics than they did the previous year.
The 2026 Class 12 examinations included 115 test locations and 185 foreign schools, as per the official figures. This year, out of the 24,047 pupils who signed up for the test, 24,009 actually took it. The total pass rate was 90.50 percent since 21,728 students from the group passed the test.
The UMANG app, DigiLocker, and the official CBSE website now provide online access to the results. Documents obtained via DigiLocker are legally accepted for admission to postsecondary institutions.
