Swiggy, Zomato Hikes Platform Fees, Food Orders to Get Costlier

We order food from online delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy, but now your food orders will get costlier. Now, food delivery apps Zomato and Swiggy are raising their platform fees as per the reports.

Food purchases made online could now be a bit more expensive. Swiggy has made a similar change, raising the fee that consumers pay with each order, just days after Zomato increased its platform charges. The platform charge for Swiggy has increased from Rs. 14.99 to Rs. 17.58 per order (inclusive of GST). This is a rise of about 17%.
