A man’s relative reacts with a question mark after learning his first job salary, leaving him with an emotional load. The techie posted an experience of his family’s hidden support, but the response spoiled his joy and enthusiasm for the first job.

Well, a lot of people have started sharing their experiences. Netizens are again wondering if family pressure still exists and if the pressure to find a nice job and a stable life is at first ruining the fresher’s enthusiasm and their excitement.

I’m a 2026 graduate and recently got placed in a decent company with a salary of Rs. 25,000 per month. Getting this job wasn’t easy for me. I’m not exceptionally good at tech, I’d consider myself pretty average and the current market isn’t exactly great either. So I was genuinely happy that I managed to get placed, he mentioned in the post.

He also stated that many of his relatives started asking him about his future planning and once the job is landed they gave a mocking reply. When he shared his salary with them, they replied, “What? That’s it?” He said that after hearing this, ever since then, that phrase has been stuck in his head. He keeps replaying it over and over.

He said, I know it’s not a huge salary, but considering my skills and how difficult placements have been, I felt it was a decent start. Many are supporting him and giving a positive response.
