NSE and BSE To Remain Closed for Three Days; Announced Holiday on June 26, Check List
There is an important update for investors. For three days the NSE and BSE will remain closed. A holiday has already been announced for 26th June, but due to Saturday and Sunday, 27th and 28th June, there is an extended weekend holiday.
During the last week of June, stock exchanges will experience a weekday market holiday, resulting in a momentary halt in trading. The break is a part of the official trading holiday calendar and will impact all major market categories for the day, according to reports.
On the account of Muharram next week, the holiday is approaching on Friday, June 26. Therefore, on this day, both the Stock Exchanges will be shut. Equity derivatives trading, securities lending and borrowing (SLB), currency derivatives and electronic gold receipts (EGR) will not be permitted on this day, as per the reports.
