Everybody has EMIs and expenses, but we should not get trapped in them and forget to save and invest the money. A video is going viral where a man explains the negative side of being in debt.
A video of a man warning others against purchasing pricey products using Equated Monthly Installments (EMIs) has ignited an internet discussion, with social media users expressing conflicting opinions on whether EMIs are a financial hardship or a useful method to achieve significant life goals.
The video, which was uploaded on Instagram, features a man named Amit stating that people should not acquire expensive cars, luxurious products or other expensive items simply to impress others, especially if their income cannot easily cover the payments.
He cautioned that a life of financial hardship might quickly replace that feeling. He further stated that one should never fall into the EMI cycle.
Amit added that the stress of paying monthly payments may negatively impact both one’s professional and personal lives. He stated that the persistent anxiety about missing EMI payments might prevent people from performing well in their careers and have an impact on their personal lives since they would always experience financial strain.
Amit recommended against buying anything that is outside one’s financial means. He advised that if a person’s income does not permit such purchases, they should avoid them, adding that they would be happier than buying costly things and paying EMIs each month.
