Auto News: Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Prices To Rise From April 1
As many changes are occurring by April 1st, the new financial year is starting. Citing rising input costs, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. announced on Friday that it would raise the price of its internal combustion engine (ICE) passenger automobiles beginning April 1, 2026.
According to a statement from Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., the weighted average price rise would be 0.5% of the ICE portfolio, and the amount will differ depending on the model and version. The ongoing rise in input costs is being partially mitigated by this revision, it continued, reported by PTI.
The company stated in a news release that the choice was made to offset the rising costs of raw materials and other inputs. The company also made it clear that the magnitude of the price adjustment will vary depending on the vehicle model and variant.
The revelation follows widespread cost pressures in the automobile industry, where producers have been modifying prices in response to increasing raw material and manufacturing expenses. The statement comes after Mercedes-Benz India recently raised prices in the premium car sector last week, as highlighted by ANI.
