Currently, a video is going viral on social media where Indian Diaspora queues outside the newly open Haldiram’s store in London, which is the first to open in the city.

People were seen waiting to enter the store in the video, which also shows a massive throng of customers lining up outside. Nonetheless, many social media users saw the launch as a major accomplishment for London’s Indian community and rejoiced at the introduction of one of India’s most well-known food companies.

The recently opened Haldiram’s store in Leicester Square has dozens of people waiting outside, as shown in a video shared on Instagram by the account @views.we.explore. The caption reads, “POV: London is home to Haldiram’s first location, and every Indian has the same weekend plans.” Haldiram’s has evolved into a leading Indian sweets, snacks and restaurant brand since it was founded in 1937.
