Oscars 2027 and 2028 Dates Revealed: The Academy and ABC Announce Show Dates For 99th and 100th Awards Ceremony

The 98th edition of the Academy Awards honored the industry’s finest work and talent on March 15, 2026. Not even a month later, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has scheduled the 99th Oscars and the 100th Oscars for 2027 and 2028.  The telecast of the final two years will be telecast on its longtime distributor, ABC, before moving to YouTube. 

The 99th and 100th editions of the Oscars will be a spectacular night, celebrating and honoring talent from the global film industry. As audiences around the world are still soaking in the buzz generated by the latest awards ceremony, the Academy Awards and ABC have announced the dates for the remaining two editions leading up to the centennial celebration. The 99th Oscars will be held on Sunday, March 14, 2027, followed by the 100th Oscars on Sunday, March 5, 2028. Both ceremonies will air live at 7 p.m. ET on ABC and in more than 200 territories worldwide from the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.
